AI Engineer
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Develop and validate production-grade AI solutions using generative AI approaches, including large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, fine-tuning, prompt optimization, and agent-based workflows.
- Contribute to redesigning how business development activities are modeled, processed, governed, and reported across the organization.
- Define AI-first architectures across multiple platforms to support business development and incentive workflows.
- Create and implement evaluation frameworks to assess solution quality, robustness, reliability, and business impact.
- Collaborate with product managers, data engineers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, production-ready AI solutions.
- Contribute to real-time and batch data pipelines and support monitoring, logging, metrics, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop review processes.
- Work across regions and departments to understand business workflows, contracts, and unstructured data to design effective AI solutions.
- Execute data cleansing, data engineering, and pipeline development necessary to ensure AI solutions are reliable, scalable, and production-ready.
Requirements
- More than five years of data engineering experience, including one to two years working directly with AI.
- Proven experience delivering enterprise-grade GenAI solutions, including work with MCPs, agent architectures, and RAG; familiarity with GraphRAG is a plus.
- Hands-on expertise with Python, AWS, Bedrock, LLMs, RAG, and agentic AI.
- Knowledge of agent orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph or Pydantic, or similar tools, is highly desirable.
- Experience advancing traditional RAG architectures into sophisticated agent-based AI workflows.
- Deep understanding of LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, conversational AI platforms, and modern AI-powered user experiences.
- Ability to design, optimize, and evolve large-scale conversational AI platforms with strong emphasis on code quality, documentation, and maintainability.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Salary Range
The total compensation package includes base pay, discretionary performance bonus, and comprehensive benefits. For this New York onsite role, the base salary range is $175,000 to $250,000, and may change in the future. Final offers consider an individual’s experience and qualifications to assemble a competitive overall package.
