AI Engineer

Fraction is building client-facing AI software through the DevHawk Software Factory, and this role focuses on delivering practical solutions with AI coding assistants across the full tech stack. As an AI Engineer, you will help design and build client work using tools like ClaudeCode and Codex, while also supporting internal software improvements that keep the factory moving quickly.

This is a full-time position based in Atlanta, GA with a hybrid schedule (expect 3 days in office).

Responsibilities

• Build AI-powered software solutions for clients using tools such as ClaudeCode and Codex to improve productivity across front end, server/serverless tier, database, and cloud
• Work with clients to understand requirements and help shape technical solutions
• Contribute to internal solution development and enhancements for the DevHawk Software Factory

Requirements

• Comfort with working in ambiguity
• Proficiency using AI coding assistants including Claude Code or Codex, and the ability to work at the pace of AI
• Experience using JSON and SQL for data work
• Familiarity with security approaches including OAuth and other SSO methods
• Knowledge of GitHub Actions, Terraform, or other modern CI/CD and IaC approaches
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple clients at the same time
• Must be authorized to work for any US Employer
• Must be based in Atlanta and open to Hybrid with -3 days in office (Atlanta, GA 30326)
