Job Description

LTM is hiring a Senior AI Engineer in Southlake, TX with a 3 days hybrid schedule. This role focuses on building scalable, enterprise-grade agentic AI workflows and delivering them through a strict CI/CD approach, with strong support for secure integration and production monitoring. Compensation is $107,720 to $112,720 per year, full-time.

What you’ll do

  • Design and build production-grade Python applications using orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, and CrewAI to coordinate autonomous multiagent systems, including stateful reasoning and complex RAG workflows.
  • Deploy and govern AI agents using the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform on Vertex AI, including Agent Development Kit (ADK) for code-first deployment, Agent Engine for stateful runtimes, and Agent Studio for prototyping.
  • Implement secure agent-to-agent and external connectivity using Agent2Agent (A2A) and Model Context Protocol (MCP), connecting agentic workflows to enterprise databases, remote MCP servers, and third-party workflow APIs.
  • Monitor and optimize LLM performance by improving prompt structures, managing context windows, and leveraging caching strategies to increase reasoning efficiency while reducing token consumption and operational costs.
  • Build and maintain hybrid search to ground agent decisions using Vertex AI Vector Search and Vertex AI Search with authoritative enterprise data, including local files and specialized external sources.
  • Architect decentralized agent systems under zero-trust principles, enforce data privacy protections with Vertex AI Model Armor, and manage permissions securely using Agent Identity and Google Cloud IAM.
  • Establish robust CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, versioning, and deployment of agentic systems. Use Vertex AI Agent Engine Runtime tracing, logging, and Unified Trace Viewers to debug complex reasoning loops in production.

What you bring

  • Strong mastery of Python and standard enterprise software design patterns.
  • Deep hands-on experience building complex production-ready agentic workflows with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or Google’s Agent Development Kit (ADK).
  • Proven expertise with Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, Vertex AI Agent Builder, GKE, Google Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Run, and IAM.
  • Familiarity with modern agent communication standards including Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Agent2Agent (A2A).
  • Understanding of Vertex AI Vector Search or standalone vector databases, including semantic search, metadata filtering, and embedding lifecycle management.
  • Proficiency with modern CI/CD tooling such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • 5 years of software engineering experience, including at least 2 to 3 years focused on building and deploying AI/LLM-powered applications and agentic systems at enterprise scale.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
