AI Engineer

This Junior AI and Data Science Engineer position at onsemi supports the creation and rollout of machine learning models and data analysis initiatives. The role is based in Scottsdale, AZ and focuses on building intelligent systems, improving data pipelines, and contributing to model monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models and AI solutions.
• Conduct data cleaning, preprocessing, and exploratory data analysis (EDA).
• Work with cross-functional teams to interpret business needs and turn them into data-driven solutions.
• Support the development of data pipelines and model monitoring systems.
• Document processes, models, and findings clearly and concisely.
• Keep current with emerging trends and advancements in AI and data science.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience deploying AI/ML models in production environments.
• Proficiency in Python, including NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, and either TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Familiarity with SQL and data visualization tools such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, and Power BI.
• Understanding of machine learning concepts and statistical analysis.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
