Job Description

Collins Aerospace’s Integrated Product Analytics team seeks an Analytics Engineer II to build and mature an end-to-end digital thread across portfolio products.

Responsibilities

  • Perform data analysis using Python to support informed business decisions
  • Use statistical methods to evaluate data completeness, accuracy, and reliability
  • Assist engineering teams with root cause analysis investigations
  • Drive organizational adoption of semantic models and ontologies
  • Design and develop executable Python-based analytical models
  • Automate data processing, analysis, and formatting workflows
  • Clean, structure, and analyze datasets using Python
  • Deploy machine learning algorithms on numerical and categorical datasets

Requirements

  • Typically requires a STEM degree (or Advanced Degree in a related field), unless restricted by local laws/regulations, plus minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience
  • U.S. citizenship required since only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
  • Python experience for data analysis and model development

Compensation

  • USD 68,900 - 131,100 per year

Remote Information

  • Remote employees work primarily offsite (from home)
  • Travel to the Hartford, CT site location may be required as needed
  • If you live within a reasonable commute of a Collins site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss any degree of onsite presence associated with the role
