Applications Engineer

Applications Engineer position at Enviromatic Systems, Inc. in Buford, GA (onsite).

Responsibilities

• Develop control drawings using VISIO
• Verify electrical wiring diagrams for accuracy
• Design system architecture and layout
• Draft sequence of operations for controls
• Coordinate with programmer, project manager, and sales engineer to define the scope of work
• Collaborate with internal and external customers
• Prepare bill of materials
• Detail wiring terminations and panel layouts
• Document as-built manuals
• Office-based work; more than 95% of tasks completed in an office environment with minimal field activities

Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Customer-service oriented attitude
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC control systems
• Experience interpreting MEP plans and specifications
• Ability to survey existing facility systems
• Strong writing skills
• Responsive to customers and coworkers
• Experience with drawings or computer graphics
• Strong sense of urgency
• Well organized and able to multitask
• Team-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
