Applications Engineer
Job Description
Applications Engineer position at Enviromatic Systems, Inc. in Buford, GA (onsite).
Responsibilities
- Develop control drawings using VISIO
- Verify electrical wiring diagrams for accuracy
- Design system architecture and layout
- Draft sequence of operations for controls
- Coordinate with programmer, project manager, and sales engineer to define the scope of work
- Collaborate with internal and external customers
- Prepare bill of materials
- Detail wiring terminations and panel layouts
- Document as-built manuals
- Office-based work; more than 95% of tasks completed in an office environment with minimal field activities
Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Customer-service oriented attitude
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC control systems
- Experience interpreting MEP plans and specifications
- Ability to survey existing facility systems
- Strong writing skills
- Responsive to customers and coworkers
- Experience with drawings or computer graphics
- Strong sense of urgency
- Well organized and able to multitask
- Team-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
