AV Design Engineer

Enko Systems, Inc. is looking for an AV Design Engineer to join onsite in San Bernardino, CA, focusing on designing audio-visual systems and producing CAD drawings.

Responsibilities

• Develop concepts and specifications for diverse AV systems to meet project requirements.
• Produce CAD drawings, including point-to-point diagrams, single-line schematics, and rack layouts, with manufacturer references as needed.
• Collaborate with project teams to deliver complete designs within established timelines.
• Apply knowledge of project types such as public works, private developments, stadiums, K-12 and higher education, and houses of worship.
• Provide design support throughout project lifecycles and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure accuracy.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience engineering AV systems.
• Proficiency in designing concepts and specifications for various AV systems.
• Strong CAD drafting skills, including point-to-point diagrams, single-line diagrams, rack layouts, and understanding of vendors and manufacturers.
• Current CTS, CTS-I, or CTS-D certifications required, or earned within 12 months of start date.
• RCDD certification is desirable or must be obtained within 12 months of start date.
• Team-oriented, creative problem-solver who can work to a defined schedule.
• Experience with projects in public works, private sectors, stadiums, K-12 and higher education, and houses of worship.
• Ability to commute to San Bernardino, CA 92408 (Required).
• Relocation to San Bernardino, CA 92408 before starting (Required).
