Civil Engineer (Geotechnical)

This onsite Civil Engineer (Geotechnical) role at Intech Anchoring Systems is based in Caseyville, Illinois. The position focuses on technical support, evaluating geotechnical site conditions, designing foundations and ground improvement systems, producing drawings, and training contractors.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to the sales team and partners.
• Assess existing conditions, including structures and geotechnical site characteristics, and determine the optimal design approach for projects.
• Prepare design submittals for foundations and ground improvement systems.
• Deliver training to contractors on foundation system design, in person and via virtual formats.
• Create and modify drawings for our products as required.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, and colleagues.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Background in structural or geotechnical engineering with 2+ years of experience; licensed PE or pursuing licensure.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (structural or geotechnical).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and LPile.
• Experience with geostructural solutions and submittal reports is desirable but not required.

Compensation

Salary range: USD 100,000 - 150,000 per year. Location: Caseyville, IL (onsite). Relocation reimbursement provided. Compensation is commensurate with experience.
