Job Description

DataAnnotation is hiring a Cloud Security Engineer - AI Trainer to support AI model training through cybersecurity evaluation and security-focused technical problem solving.

Responsibilities

  • Review and assess AI-generated cybersecurity content for real-world accuracy and validity
  • Evaluate outputs across threat analysis, vulnerability assessments, and offensive security techniques
  • Create, design, and solve security-focused technical problems used to train AI systems
  • Produce clear technical explanations tailored to cybersecurity use cases
  • Write security-relevant code when needed
  • Provide feedback that directly informs next-generation AI security model improvements

Requirements

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in a cybersecurity role, including at least one of: penetration testing, red teaming, incident response, detection engineering, DFIR, malware analysis, threat intelligence, or closely related work
  • Experience may include government or military cyber operations
  • Some coding experience required, including comfort navigating and patching an existing codebase
  • Fluency in English at native or bilingual level, with strong writing skills
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Cybersecurity certifications are a plus (examples: OSCP, CRTO, GREM, GCFA, CEH, and similar)

  • Salary: USD 50 to 100 per hour (paid hourly)
