Job Description
Infosys Consulting is seeking a Consultant to envision and design AI-driven business solutions for clients. In this New York onsite role, you will help shape and deliver AI agents and agentic workflows, including LLM-based solutions, RAG and knowledge capabilities, and supporting data and engineering foundations for production use.
Location: New York, NY (onsite) | Salary: USD 84,706 - 102,941 per year | Experience: 3+ years
What you will do
- Design and implement AI agents and agentic workflows.
- Design, build, and scale AI products using Claude, OpenAI, and similar model providers.
- Create multi-step agents using LangChain, Google ADK, and related frameworks.
- Develop RAG capabilities, semantic search, knowledge graphs, and graph-based retrieval approaches.
- Apply prompt engineering approaches to generate relevant responses.
- Build data pipelines, API integrations, microservices, and Python AI/ML solutions.
- Design and build evaluation methods to help ensure integrity of outcomes.
- Maintain strong client relationships by understanding needs and providing tailored IT solutions.
- Present project updates, findings, and recommendations to client executives and stakeholders clearly and concisely.
- Operate as a project activities lead, working with stakeholders through IT transformation processes.
- Collaborate with project teams to support clear communication, effective collaboration, and on-time delivery of milestones.
- Mentor junior team members to support continuous learning and professional growth.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3+ years in backend or AI application development.
- Proven experience integrating AI agents into enterprise systems.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and presentation abilities.
- Proven ability to collaborate with and support project teams.
- Ability to travel up to 75%.
- Authorization to work in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship.

- Strong independence and program/project management skills, including interviewing clients, process mapping, project planning, and stakeholder communication.
- Presentation experience supporting successful project proposals.
