Location: Colorado onsite.

Responsibilities

  • Operate with autonomy in the field, taking ownership of assigned tasks from start to finish
  • Lead and assist with start-up and commissioning of control systems
  • Plan and execute Factory Acceptance Tests
  • Read and interpret piping and instrumentation diagrams and wiring diagrams; provide field feedback against drawings
  • Apply and troubleshoot Human-Machine Interface (HMI) and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) applications
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the company’s Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Review standard documents produced by others for technical quality, grammar, and presentation
  • Show a deep understanding of complex control system design and provide instrumentation specifications for such systems
  • Understand Information Technology systems, network infrastructure, and computer system design as they relate to control system integration
  • Communicate with customers in an effective, positive, and proactive manner
  • Follow customer site standards and procedures and maintain professional conduct at all times
  • Deliver excellent customer care, be patient and responsive, and honor commitments
  • Identify customer needs and actively seek to address them
  • Complete assigned tasks accurately, on schedule, and within budget
  • Understand scope of work, flag issues beyond scope to the project lead
  • Lead individual project tasks or small to mid-sized projects through to completion
  • Serve as the main customer contact on projects you lead and communicate with customers and trade partners
  • Anticipate issues and proactively plan solutions; seek opportunities for new work
  • Provide detailed feedback on project tasks and demonstrate understanding of contracts and specifications
  • Identify and manage risks; mentor junior staff where applicable
  • Make decisive decisions and build strong customer relationships; take initiative to broaden responsibilities
  • Promote a positive, collaborative team culture and use resources efficiently
  • Overnight travel may be required up to 50 percent
  • On-call rotation may be required based on location and client needs

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor of Science
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years in relevant roles
  • Location: Colorado onsite
  • Technologies: Experience with HMI and PLC applications
  • Communication: Proven ability to interact with customers professionally
  • Quality: Deep understanding of a Quality Management System
  • Documentation: Ability to review standard documents for technical quality and presentation
  • IT & Networking: Understanding of IT systems and network infrastructure as related to control systems
  • Travel: Overnight travel up to 50% is possible
  • Other: Proof of eligibility to work in the country; valid driver's license; fit for duty

Compensation

Annual salary range is USD 93,000 to 126,000, with eligibility for annual bonuses.
