Job Description

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer - Early Career to support the THAAD program in Huntsville, AL onsite.

Responsibilities

  • Implement cybersecurity on tactical products and systems.
  • Collaborate with systems engineering, software engineering, and product teams to enable secure system designs across the lifecycle.
  • Apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to planning, design, development, validation, and verification of Cyber solutions across the lifecycle.
  • Serve as the cyber representative to non-cyber teams to support requirements understanding, collaborative engagement, and solution identification and implementation.
  • Assist with the development of Cyber Plans and Procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and related experience.
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher certification (e.g., Security+, GSEC), or the ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
  • Foundational understanding of cybersecurity principles.
  • Understanding of IT fundamentals.
  • U.S. citizen; ability to obtain a government security clearance.

Ability to Work Remotely

  • Onsite Full-time: The work for this position will be performed at a Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules

  • Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for This Position

  • 9x80 every other Friday off
