Within the CGI Federal team supporting the Army PL ALTESS program, the Senior Cybersecurity Network Defense Administrator provides information assurance leadership and hands-on network defense in alignment with established guidelines. The role emphasizes ACAS management, AESS, PKI, STIGs, PPSM, and eMASS documentation to sustain secure IT operations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct a range of network defense activities following established guidelines and industry best practices.
- Govern ACAS infrastructure, including configuration, scanning, reporting, and analysis in accordance with the DISA ACAS Best Practices Guide.
- Oversee Army Endpoint Security Solution (AESS) Site Reviewer activities.
- Manage the DISA whitelist workflow and permissions.
- Administer PKI tokens and related processes.
- Execute STIG compliance scanning and generate corresponding reports.
- Provide support for Ports, Protocols, and Services Management (PPSM).
- Assess security impact of proposed configuration changes.
- Handle in-processing and out-processing tasks associated with account management functions.
- Maintain updates to the designated training and certification tracking system.
- Participate in software assurance reviews to ensure ACAS findings are remediated or properly documented in eMASS POA&M.
Requirements
- Cybersecurity certification (examples include Security+ or CISSP, among others).
- Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
- 10 or more years of experience in cybersecurity and network defense areas.
- Hands-on experience with ACAS management, including infrastructure management, configuration, scanning, reporting, and analysis.
- Proficiency in managing Army Endpoint Security Solution (AESS) Site Reviewer activities.
- Experience with DISA whitelist management.
- Knowledge of PKI token management.
- Strong understanding of DoD STIGs and the ability to perform STIG compliance scanning and reporting.
- Experience providing PPSM support.
- Ability to review proposed configuration changes for security impact.
- Experience with in-processing and out-processing tasks related to account management functions.
