Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Engineer

Consolidated Chassis Management, LLC seeks a Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Engineer in Rockaway, NJ (onsite) to oversee security governance and infrastructure operations across data centers, cloud platforms, networks, and end-user computing, with a salary range of USD 85,000 - 95,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• Help shape and implement the organization’s cybersecurity strategy, policies, and governance framework.
• Support vulnerability management, threat detection, incident response, and disaster recovery planning.
• Conduct security risk assessments and ensure adherence to industry standards and compliance requirements.
• Apply security best practices for identity and access management, data protection, and network security.
• Administer and optimize cybersecurity tools and platforms.
• Promote security awareness and foster a security-first culture across the organization.
• Assist with architecture, operations, and optimization of on-premises, hybrid, and cloud infrastructure.
• Develop cybersecurity roadmaps aligned with business priorities.
• Participate in troubleshooting, incident resolution, and continuous improvement across infrastructure and security domains.
• Infrastructure and Desktop Management: manage core systems including servers, networks, and cloud environments (Azure, M365); serve as Tier III escalation for complex end-user device issues.
• Provisioning and Onboarding: automate and oversee new-hire provisioning, including hardware imaging, account creation, and RBAC.
• Strategic Endpoint Management: design and refine automated desktop provisioning to streamline onboarding while maintaining compliance.
• Lifecycle and Support Oversight: supervise hardware lifecycle, ensuring patching, encryption, and identity management are integrated securely.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 4 to 6 years of IT leadership experience with a focus on cybersecurity and infrastructure oversight.
• Proven experience across enterprise networks, servers, cloud platforms, and security operations.
• Experience designing and implementing security frameworks and governance programs.
• Experience leading complex technology projects and cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical risk into business impact.
• Certifications preferred: Security+, Network+, CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP, CEH, AWS/Azure certifications, ITIL, PMP.
• Strategic, proactive, security-minded leadership style.
• Risk-driven approach with governance and mindset controls.
• Ability to manage competing priorities across complex environments.
