Job Description
This role leads cybersecurity operations and risk management across the organization, overseeing administration of security tools, devices, safeguards, and event management.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with service providers to align security goals with operations
- Partner with departments including application development, IT operations, networks, and privacy teams
- Direct teams in building, testing, deploying, administering, and troubleshooting enterprise security solutions
- Guide staff in tactical execution and implementation of operational plans
- Continue analytics on security trends and ensure alignment with organizational risk posture
- Develop security controls aimed at reducing overall enterprise risk
- Lead security technology incident response and problem management processes
- Shape operational strategies related to technology security
- Oversee migration, upgrades, and disposal of complex security capabilities
- Drive remediation actions across security domains
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field
- 8+ years of relevant experience (at least 6 years in cybersecurity and 2 years in infrastructure)
- Some background in software development
- CISSP certification is a plus
- Exposure to SSO technologies such as SAML and OAuth
- Ability to support Azure with an understanding of Entra and its integration with Azure
- Scripting and application development background (Java, Python, JavaScript, PowerShell) is advantageous
- Experience in Application Security domains (WAF, Privileged Access Management, Identity proofing, PKI, API security, vulnerability scanning) is beneficial
- Knowledge of application security concepts including OWASP Top 10
