Job Description

This onsite role in Huntsville, Alabama places you on the CEMA team, building a cyber operations platform, integrating open-source tools, and creating IDS/IPS algorithms and dashboards for tactical edge systems. A TS/SCI clearance is required and US citizenship is needed to support mission-critical work.

In this position, you will contribute from the heart of the security operations lifecycle in Huntsville, shaping how cyber data is collected, analyzed, and acted upon at the tactical edge.

Responsibilities

  • Develop procedures and techniques for ongoing use of a cyber operations platform within a customer designated environment
  • Evaluate, select, and integrate open-source cyber tools to enhance the platform
  • Develop new IDS/IPS algorithms to detect malicious behavior
  • Create graphical cyber dashboards and tooling to improve visibility into monitored cyber activities
  • Develop custom installers to deliver reliable, field-ready capabilities to tactical edge systems

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-4 years of professional development in various programming languages with demonstrable ability via GitHub, printouts, or provided media
  • Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer engineering, computer science, or a related technical field
  • Ability to write software and scripts in Python, BASH, C++, HTML, or Javascript
  • Familiarity with dissection of network protocols using Wireshark and related tools
  • Experience with virtualization and containerization technologies such as Vagrant, Docker, Podman, VirtualBox, and Kubernates
  • Must be a US citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance

Compensation

Salary range: $69,550.00 - $125,725.00 per year
