Job Description

CGI is seeking a Data & Analytics Engineer as a full time consultant to design and implement enterprise Data and Analytics solutions while partnering with business stakeholders in Nashville, TN (hybrid). You will work on unique and complex enterprise challenges and build practical data and reporting capabilities alongside a supportive team.

What you’ll do

  • Work with business partners to analyze business processes, gather requirements, and recommend technical solutions.
  • Design and implement enterprise Data and Analytics solutions for complicated business problems.
  • Develop, document, and implement data models for transactional systems and/or reporting solutions.
  • Create and support ETL for analytics solutions and data migrations.
  • Deliver analytics and reporting solutions using tools such as PowerBI or Tableau.
  • Contribute to estimation for project tasks.
  • Grow your career by expanding technical abilities through hands-on work and continued learning.

Required qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to recognize business needs, analyze requests, and recommend solid technical solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, team members, managers, and domain experts.
  • Desire to grow into a leadership role.
  • Proven analytical and problem solving skills with steadfast attention to detail.
  • Experience developing enterprise, full lifecycle Data and Analytic solutions with hands on experience in one or more of: SQL, ETL, data modeling, reporting, and analytics.
  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Management, or Computer Information Systems (MIS or CIS) or related degree required.

Preferred (desired) qualifications

  • Hands on experience building end to end data and analytics solutions across data modeling, data warehousing, ETL, reporting, and analytics.
  • Experience building and designing reporting and transactional models in database management systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, AWS RDS, RedShift, PostgresSQL, MySQL, or Snowflake.
  • Experience planning and conducting complex data migrations.
  • Understanding of Master Data Management tools and processes.
  • Software development experience in languages such as Java, .NET, or Python.
  • Experience with front end technologies such as HTML, CSS, React, and/or Javascript.
  • Experience building AI solutions or leveraging AI in software development.
  • Experience leading small teams of 1 to 3 people.

Compensation and benefits

Salary range: USD 70,800 - 156,700 per yearly. CGI offers competitive compensation and comprehensive insurance options, including matching contributions through the 401(k) plan and the share purchase plan.
