Job Description
Join Amazon.com Services LLC in New York, onsite, to architect and launch a greenfield finance data platform for FAIM within Amazon Ads. This role offers a competitive salary range and the opportunity to shape end-to-end data infrastructure in a fast-moving environment. You will collaborate closely with Finance Managers, PM-Ts, Scientists, and Engineering, helping translate raw data into trusted insights and self-service reporting across multiple AI native advertising products.

Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end technical direction for the FAIM data warehouse, ETL pipelines, and the reporting layer.
- Design and operate Datanet and ETLM workflows, Cradle profiles, and Andes datasets, building dashboards that finance partners rely on as the source of truth.
- Ingest telemetry from across Amazon’s data ecosystem, including Andes subscriptions, EDX, S3, and internal services, into a clean, query-ready data layer.
- Move quickly to deliver in OP1/OP2 cycles, align with MBR/QBR rhythms, and respond to ad hoc executive requests with action-oriented execution.
- Turn multi-source, messy data into well-documented dimensional models that scale with the organization.
- Lead code and design reviews and establish data quality, lineage, and reliability standards for the team.
Requirements
- 3+ years of data engineering experience.
- 1+ year of developing and operating large-scale BI data structures using ETL/ELT processes.
- 1+ year of developing and operating large-scale BI data structures with data modeling experience.
- 1+ year of developing and operating large-scale BI data structures with SQL experience.
- Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
