Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and deployment of advanced data engineering solutions on mission-focused programs
- Build and scale pipelines and platforms to organize disparate data into meaningful insights
- Lead and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of analysts, data engineers, developers, and data consumers in an agile, fast-paced environment
- Apply analytical exploration to guide the assessment, design, construction, and upkeep of scalable platforms for clients
Requirements
- 3+ years working with major data science languages such as Python and R
- 3+ years retrieving, merging, and analyzing structured and unstructured data from APIs and databases using Python, R, or SQL
- Experience designing and administering databases in DBMS such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL
- Experience with data analytics, data mining, statistical analysis, or AI/ML
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of data engineering experience, or 12+ years of data engineering experience in lieu of a degree
