Job Description
Storm3 is hiring its first Data Engineer for an on-site role in New York City. This position will take ownership of the end-to-end data foundation, including the cloud platform, ingestion and transformation pipelines, and the systems needed for identity resolution, data quality, and downstream measurement and AI-driven insights.
Role Overview
You will build and maintain the core cloud data foundation used across product and analytics workflows. The scope covers data platform development, ingestion, transformation and attribution pipelines, identity resolution, and data quality practices, with a direct line to campaign measurement, experimentation, and AI-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and own the cloud data platform end-to-end
- Design scalable ingestion, transformation, and attribution pipelines
- Address complex identity resolution and data quality challenges
- Create the foundation for campaign measurement, experimentation, and AI-driven insights
- Partner directly with Product, AI, Media, and Customer teams
Required Qualifications
- Strong Python and SQL
- Experience building production-grade data platforms and ETL/ELT pipelines
- Expertise with modern cloud data stacks such as BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks, and Redshift
- Comfort working with messy, high-volume third-party data
- Startup mentality with a desire to own problems from 0 to 1
