Database Administrator / Data Engineer

Career Land Center, LLC is seeking a Database Administrator / Data Engineer to help migrate on-prem SQL Server data to AWS and Snowflake and build Python and AWS-based data processing and pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Support database migration activities
• Perform Python-based data processing and support data loads
• Develop AWS data pipelines for applications using Amazon RDS and DynamoDB

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Database Administration, Data Engineering, or a related role
• Experience migrating on-prem SQL Server databases to AWS and Snowflake
• Experience with AWS Database Migration Service (DMS) or comparable migration tooling
• Hands-on experience with AWS database technologies, including RDS and DynamoDB
• Experience writing Python scripts for data processing and data loads
• Experience building AWS data pipelines using S3, Glue, and Lambda
• Experience with data modeling and supporting application data environments
• Experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and DynamoDB
• Familiarity with version control tools such as GitHub

Location and Work Schedule

Employment Duration

• Contract runs through July 31, 2026
• Possible extension
