DevOps Software Engineer III with TS/SCI Polygraph
Job Description
As a DevOps Software Engineer III with TS/SCI polygraph, you will join Deloitte's Government & Public Services practice. We unite people, ideas, technology, and outcomes to help federal, state, and local government clients and public higher education institutions address complex challenges and advance their missions. In this role, you will build secure, production-ready applications in a classified environment, integrating CI/CD pipelines, security reviews, and AI-assisted development tools while collaborating across development, security, and deployment activities.
Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain CI/CD pipelines that incorporate automated testing and security reviews to ensure production readiness.
- Establish and uphold application hardening standards across scripts, automations, and AI-enabled web applications.
- Lead security reviews for new development work and assemble Authorization to Operate artifacts, including system security plan sections, control evidence, and POA&M inputs.
- Integrate AI-assisted development and testing tools into team workflows and maintain secure coding practices across Python, HTML/CSS, .NET, and PowerShell.
- Support development and production environments, monitor security events, and drive remediation activities through to resolution.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- 4+ years of experience in application development, test-driven development, SDLC activities, and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
- 4+ years of experience in Python development.
- 4+ years of experience in security operations.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- Ability to travel approximately 10 to 25 percent, depending on client engagements.
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
