Job Description
Join Clamco (PAC Machinery) as an Electrical Controls Engineer in Berea, OH (onsite), designing automated machinery and the electrical control infrastructure that powers it.
Responsibilities
- Design automated machinery, control panels, and associated controls
- Develop control system designs, program PLCs, and integrate machine subsystems
- Integrate subsystems to ensure coordinated operation
Requirements
- Strong working knowledge of electrical systems and electronic controls in a hands-on environment
- Experience with electrical controls including PLCs and HMIs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- BSEE or BS in Electrical Engineering Technology
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Highly motivated, organized, and self-directed
- Minimum 5 years of related electrical engineering experience
- Computer literate; proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity using ERP systems
- Proven ability to design control systems, program PLCs, and integrate subsystems
- Knowledge of machine-level and related facilities electrical requirements
- Working knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and electrical testing design
- Understanding of sensor technology, VFDs, and stepper motors
- Experience programming and troubleshooting PLC and HMI systems
- Understanding of machine communication protocols and data acquisition
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Solid understanding of design for manufacturability
- Track record of developing solutions for production and manufacturing challenges
- Board level electronics design experience is a plus
- 3D modeling experience is a plus

Salary: $65,000 - $90,000 per year
