Electrical Design Engineer

This on-site Electrical Design Engineer role is located in West Chester, Ohio. The position offers USD 80,000 per year and focuses on electrical design drawings, BOMs, and PLC HMI development for industrial systems.

Responsibilities

• Produce submittal, working, and production drawings in alignment with engineering standards and customer specifications.
• Collect and analyze project data to ensure precise design and proper assembly of components.
• Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), including assigning internal part numbers.
• Specify and document equipment selection, mounting dimensions, and clearance requirements in accordance with the National Electrical Code and company procedures.
• Design electrical schematics, panel layouts, and system components, including PLC programming and HMI development for project-specific applications.

Requirements

• Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical and AutoCAD for creating electrical and production drawings.
• Experience developing PLC ladder logic and HMI interfaces for industrial systems.
• Strong understanding of engineering standards, schematics, and electrical design principles.
• Ability to interpret customer specifications, technical documents, and engineering drawings.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
