Electrical Engineer
Job Description
The Electrical Engineer will support building design projects across education, municipal, commercial, and institutional markets. This hybrid role focuses on hands-on electrical design and the preparation of drawings from early concept through construction documentation and administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems for building projects from concept through construction
- Create drawings directly in AutoCAD and/or Revit
- Develop deliverables including one-lines, panel schedules, power plans, lighting layouts, and related specifications
- Design fire alarm, low voltage, communications, security, and access control systems
- Conduct site visits, perform field investigations, and review existing conditions
- Support short-circuit, coordination, and arc-flash studies
- Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, structural teams, and clients
- Review submittals and assist with construction administration
- Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and technical priorities
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of electrical design experience is preferred
- Experience designing building electrical systems in MEP, A&E, architectural engineering, or building design
- Strong hands-on drafting and design experience using AutoCAD
- Revit MEP experience is a plus
- Experience with power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, low voltage, panel schedules, and construction documents

- $90,000 - $110,000+ per year depending on experience
