Compensation

Salary range: USD 81,000 to 102,000 per year. This range is provided as a good-faith estimate at the time of posting; actual compensation may vary based on factors such as job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, internal equity, market data, applicable collective bargaining agreements, and relevant laws.

Responsibilities

• Initiates and develops technical calculations, complex studies, and engineering drawings.
• Prepares, reviews, and approves electrical drawings as required.
• Conforms to project criteria, applicable codes, and design standards.
• Uses and maintains proficiency in industry-standard engineering software and applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from a 4-year ABET-accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 3 years of job-related experience or equivalent. FE (EIT) certificate preferred.
• Intermediate understanding of power system analysis, lighting, power and control, grounding, lightning protection, communications, and security systems.
• Experience in electrical equipment and cable sizing.
• Working knowledge of Power System Analysis software.
• Experience using BIM, Revit, MicroStation, and AutoCAD MEP.
• Excellent oral communication and technical writing skills.
• Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.
• Position may require travel.
• Candidate must be a US citizen due to the nature of work.
• DOE/DOD/Army Corps of Engineer project experience.
