Job Description

Boeing’s Digital Analytics and System Health (DASH) team is seeking an experienced software engineer to support Boeing Global Services (BGS) in Hazelwood, Missouri. This onsite role focuses on building and maintaining full stack web applications, databases, and data processing tools for fleet health management and analytics, with primary support for the F/A-18 platform.

You will design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions that help deliver reliable analytics and fleet health capabilities. The work includes coordinating complex development across teams, troubleshooting issues, improving engineering processes, and contributing to code quality through planning and review in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain full stack software solutions supporting fleet health management and analytics
  • Collaborate with users and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable, maintainable software systems
  • Coordinate complex development efforts across multiple teams and disciplines to align with program objectives
  • Lead or contribute to project planning, code reviews, and agile development processes
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues to ensure reliability and performance
  • Continuously improve software processes, tools, and documentation to enhance team productivity and product quality
  • Apply system-level thinking to integrate software components within a broader operational environment
  • Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge sharing within the team

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
  • 5+ years of experience in full stack software development
  • 5+ years of experience working with software development life cycle and architecture frameworks
  • 1+ years of experience with cloud-platform technologies: AWS, Azure, or GCP

  • Level 3 criteria: Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science and 5+ years of related work experience OR Bachelor’s Degree and 9+ years of directly related work experience OR 13+ years of related, relevant experience

Summary pay range for Experienced (Level 3): $126,650 - $171,350. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Specific benefit programs and options may vary based on eligibility factors such as geographic location, date of hire, and applicable collective bargaining agreements.
