Job Description

CaptiveAire is seeking a Senior Full Stack .NET Software Engineer to support ongoing development for internal line-of-business applications. This onsite role in Raleigh, NC focuses on delivering new capabilities and maintaining existing systems for sales and manufacturing workflows, using C# for server-side development and client-side development to support supporting services.

Role Overview

This position will work with internal sales and manufacturing software, contributing to feature delivery, bug fixes, and improvements that simplify user workflows. The work is expected to align with stated requirements and project goals, with an emphasis on careful analysis and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate on internal sales and manufacturing software.
  • Implement new feature requests and correct defects in existing logic.
  • Improve application usability by simplifying current workflows.
  • Ensure delivered software solutions match the goals defined in the requirements.
  • Use critical, thorough thinking when evaluating approaches and solutions.
  • Continuously improve both the delivered work and individual professional skills.
  • Use an internally hosted instance of YouTrack for overall project management and Confluence for documentation efforts.
  • Support Continuous Integration using TeamCity and internally hosted NuGet packages for build, dependency, and deployment management.
  • Deploy software to staging and production environments using OctopusDeploy.
  • Maintain source code in an on-premises GitHub Enterprise instance.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience with .NET and .NET Core.
  • Experience with Entity Framework or a comparable ORM.
  • 5-10 years of continuous experience with C#.
  • 5-10 years of experience with SQL Server using T-SQL or an equivalent relational database.
