Full Stack Software Engineer

Build and ship modern enterprise software that supports innovation initiatives across Nucor Buildings Group’s Product Innovation Group.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using Python, React/TypeScript, C#/.NET, REST APIs, and relational databases
• Write high-quality software with automated Playwright testing, code reviews, Git, and established engineering practices
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Software Architects, and other developers to translate requirements and designs into working software
• Deploy and troubleshoot applications in Microsoft Azure using established CI/CD, security, monitoring, and cloud practices
• Join technical discussions and expand skills across cloud, architecture, DevOps, and emerging technologies including AI
• Develop and integrate AI/ML and LLM-enabled capabilities into enterprise applications where appropriate
• Initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Hands-on experience with Python, React, TypeScript, C#, .NET/ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, and SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL
• Experience building maintainable systems using automated Playwright testing, Git, and code reviews
• Familiarity with CI/CD and experience developing or deploying applications in Azure or a comparable cloud platform
• Understanding of application security, performance, error handling, and software design principles
• Ability to independently own features while collaborating effectively with the team
• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field or equivalent professional experience
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Entra ID, authentication/authorization, monitoring, and Application Insights
• Experience with enterprise integrations, messaging, or event-driven applications
• Experience developing commercial or enterprise software
• Experience or interest in Azure AI Foundry, LLM APIs, RAG, agent frameworks, and MCP
