Position overview

On site in Willoughby, OH, the Industrial Automation Field Service Engineer provides daily maintenance and repair for customer equipment and may contribute to small engineering projects. The role requires PLC and drive familiarity, strong communication with customers, and readiness to travel domestically.

Responsibilities

• Meet daily service maintenance and repair needs of customer equipment and participate in small engineering projects of varying scope.
• Perform basic troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and repair on designated equipment.
• Complete Preventative Maintenance and field modifications.
• Maintain up-to-date administrative records such as customer service logs and internal service records in a timely manner.
• Maintain daily communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up.
• Identify and participate in sales opportunities such as new contracts, contract renewals, and system sales.
• Provide emergency call-out service on a rotating schedule.
• Travel 50-70% of the time domestically.

Requirements

• Engineering degree or equivalent experience in industrial automation.
• Qualified entry-level candidates will be considered.

Pay

$65,000 - $95,000 per year
