Information Security Engineer Associate

Hybrid role with hands-on security engineering work at Nemours Children’s Health. This position supports the Security Engineering and Operations team, helping protect the organization against cyber security threats through tool implementation and operational support. You will also contribute to incident readiness by training others and leading during security incidents and tabletop exercises.

Location and work model: Jacksonville, FL (hybrid), with the role also listed in Orlando, FL or Wilmington, DE.

What you’ll do

• Provide support to the Security Engineering and Operations team
• Research, develop, and help implement security tools and applications
• Act as a technical lead on security projects
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
• Handle escalations from junior team members
• Serve as a technical liaison for Clinical and Business Information Security needs
• Train team members on the implementation and operation of security tools
• Train others on incident response procedures
• Serve as lead during security incidents and table-top exercises

What you bring

• Associate Degree required
• Minimum 1 to 3 years of related experience
