Job Description

TechniPower, Inc. is hiring a Java Developer/Engineer for a Sustainment team building and maintaining web applications on cloud infrastructure. This temporary to possible permanent opportunity is hybrid based in Fort Worth, TX, with a focus that spans both front-end and back-end development and cloud deployment. You will collaborate closely with infrastructure engineers to containerize and deliver applications, supporting continued operation through testing and maintenance cycles.

What you’ll do

  • Analyze user needs and design software solutions aligned to those requirements.
  • Develop, test, and update application source code as new needs emerge.
  • Support ongoing program functionality during maintenance and testing phases.
  • Document system and application details to enable future upgrades and maintenance.
  • Build and deploy software, including deployments in cloud environments.
  • Integrate external code into core libraries and handle installation, configuration, and application setup.
  • Evaluate third-party vendors and software partners to support sustainment needs.
  • Design and develop RESTful APIs to enable application integration.

What you bring

  • U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (required).
  • BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field, or significant professional experience.
  • Experience developing Python REST APIs using Flask and FastAPI.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience with Reliability, Maintainability, and Safety engineering analysis.
  • Background in the Aerospace industry or a related field.
  • Experience with Fleet Management software.
  • Knowledge of predictive logistics.
  • Proficiency in UML (Unified Modeling Language).
  • Experience with Node.js.
  • Experience in cloud environments and software deployment.
