Job Description

Deloitte offers an onsite opportunity in Stamford, CT for a Lead Data Engineer with a Databricks focus, designed to design, build, and deliver modern data and analytics solutions for clients. You will lead delivery teams and advise stakeholders on architecture and operating models. The role includes a salary range of USD 134,500 to 265,100 per year, requires a Bachelor's degree, and may involve travel up to 50 percent depending on client engagements. Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and delivery of Databricks based data and analytics solutions for client engagements
  • Manage project teams and workstreams across requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, and deployment
  • Translate business and technical requirements into scalable data pipelines, data models, and platform capabilities
  • Advise client stakeholders on architecture, implementation approaches, and operating model considerations for modern data platforms
  • Oversee solution quality, issue resolution, and delivery progress while supporting project economics and timeline management

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 6+ years of experience delivering data engineering, analytics, or cloud data platform solutions
  • 3+ years of experience with Databricks and Apache Spark
  • 3+ years of experience with Python and SQL
  • 2+ years of experience leading project teams or workstreams
  • Ability to travel 50%, on average
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
