Lead Data Engineer

In this role, you will help shape reliable data delivery by building and improving pipelines, strengthening SQL and data models, and ensuring production data quality. What you’ll do

You will lead hands-on engineering work across the data lifecycle, from building foundational pipelines to maintaining production readiness. Core responsibilities include:

• Build data pipelines to support downstream analytics and reporting
• Optimize SQL for performance and efficiency
• Perform data modeling to support scalable and consistent data structures
• Manage NoSQL stores as part of data platform needs
• Implement quality checks to help ensure data reliability
• Carry out performance tuning to improve operational outcomes
• Handle metadata management to maintain clarity and governance
• Provide production support to keep systems running smoothly
