Job Description

The position carries a competitive salary range of USD 152,000 to 215,000 per year, and it invites a Lead Software Engineer to architect, design, and deliver secure, scalable solutions within an agile team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and delivery of scalable platform solutions, applying advanced troubleshooting and creative problem solving to address complex infrastructure and integration challenges.
  • Create and maintain secure production code and automation scripts to ensure reliable integration across enterprise platforms and infrastructure.
  • Drive adoption of enterprise approved AI assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes, while establishing validation standards for secure coding, peer review, and automated testing, and promoting reuse of effective patterns across the team.
  • Leverage the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain, including AI assisted development and automation capabilities, to maximize the value of automation.
  • Produce architecture and design documentation for complex applications, ensuring alignment with constraints and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Analyze large and diverse data sets to create actionable visualizations and reporting that guide continuous improvement of software and system performance.
  • Proactively identify hidden data patterns to inform coding standards, system architecture, and overall application resiliency.
  • Contribute to internal software engineering communities of practice by participating in events and initiatives exploring emerging technologies and industry trends.
  • Cultivate a team culture grounded in diversity, inclusion, respect, and opportunity, mentoring junior engineers and fostering collaboration.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with 5+ years of applied experience, with regional guidance for NAMR/APAC (India, LATAM, Hong Kong).
  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with advanced applied experience for EMEA and LATAM Brazil.
  • Singapore based candidates should follow local country guidance.
  • Demonstrated experience leading effective use of approved AI assisted software development tools, with the ability to set team expectations for validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
  • Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity considerations, secure handling of inputs and outputs, and adherence to resiliency and security expectations; experience coaching engineers on safe, compliant adoption within delivery practices.
  • Advanced proficiency in Python and/or Java, with demonstrated ability to develop, debug, and maintain code using modern programming and database querying languages.
  • Extensive experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, data lakes, and AWS S3, including design and implementation of scalable data storage architectures.
  • Proven track record deploying and managing applications on AWS services such as EMR, EKS/ECS, EC2, Event Bus, and S3.
  • Deep familiarity with enterprise logging and monitoring platforms, including Splunk, Elastic Search, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana, CloudWatch, and Datadog.
  • Strong experience with CI/CD processes, using Jenkins and Spinnaker to automate and streamline software delivery pipelines.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the full software development lifecycle, agile methodologies, application resiliency, and security best practices.
  • Demonstrated expertise in software applications and technical processes within cloud computing, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and mobile technologies.
