Lead Software Engineer - Full Stack React/ GoLang

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement innovative software solutions, focusing on design, development, and troubleshooting to tackle complex problems beyond routine approaches.
• Produce secure, high-quality production code and review peers' work to identify and fix issues.
• Lead the adoption of enterprise authorized AI assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes, including AI assisted code review, refactoring, and testing strategy acceleration; establish consistent validation standards and promote reuse of effective patterns across the team.
• Leverage the software development life cycle toolchain and AI assisted development capabilities to maximize automation value.
• Identify opportunities to automate recurring remediation tasks to enhance the stability of software applications and systems.
• Guide evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to probe architectural designs, credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture.

Requirements

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with 5+ years of applied experience for NAMR/APAC regions such as India, LATAM, and Hong Kong.
• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with advanced applied experience for EMEA and LATAM Brazil regions.
• Singapore follows local country guidance.
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages including Golang, React, AWS, Java, Terraform, and Typescript.
• Experience leading effective use of AI assisted software development tools for coding, code review, test acceleration, and troubleshooting, with the ability to set team expectations for validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity considerations, secure handling of inputs/outputs, and adherence to resiliency and security expectations; experience coaching engineers on safe, compliant adoption within delivery practices.
• Proficiency across all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Advanced knowledge of agile methodologies including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
• In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems.
• Practical cloud native experience.
