Job Description

Lead Software Engineer - Salesforce role based in Plano, TX, onsite within JPMorgan Chase's Consumer & Community Banking group, focused on delivering secure, scalable technology in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

  • Designs and delivers innovative software solutions, handling architecture, development, and debugging with the ability to tackle nonstandard problems.
  • Writes secure, production-grade code and reviews or debugs code written by teammates.
  • Identifies opportunities to automate recurring remediation to improve the operational stability of applications and systems.
  • Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to assess architectures, technical credentials, and fit within the existing information architecture.
  • Leads communities of practice across Software Engineering to promote awareness and adoption of new and leading-edge technologies.
  • Contributes to a culture that values diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering with 8+ years of applied experience.
  • Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods.
  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Advanced knowledge of agile practices, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
  • Proven experience with software applications and processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile).
  • Experience configuring Salesforce elements such as objects, fields, record types, profiles, permission sets, page layouts, dynamic forms, validation rules, flows, approval processes, list views, reports, and dashboards.
  • Knowledge of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, FSC, and OMNI Channel.
  • Hands-on experience with Agentforce and/or external LLM integrations with Salesforce.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce programming and administration concepts (Lightning Web Components, Aura Components, Apex, Flows, Async Apex, Custom Metadata, Triggers, SOQL, and assignment rules).
  • Knowledge of Salesforce APIs (REST API, Bulk API) and integration capabilities.
