Machine Learning Engineer

The Machine Learning Engineer role supports an ASRC Federal Technology Solutions contract in El Paso, TX (onsite). The position involves building and operationalizing AI/ML capabilities within a Command and Control (C2) environment for candidates with DoD Secret clearance or higher.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data-driven software solutions to support business needs
• Develop, test, and implement AI/ML models and tools to improve business processes
• Stay current on AI/ML industry trends to identify technical opportunities for efficient data systems
• Support implementation, testing, and monitoring for data processing pipelines and AI/ML learning products
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and deliver technical solutions
• Analyze and interpret data to generate meaningful insights using C2 and AI/ML tools
• Maintain data quality and integrity throughout development and into execution
• Perform additional tasks as assigned that align with Data Engineers/Scientists qualifications and the overall framework of the work statement

Required Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret security clearance or higher (candidates without a minimum Secret clearance will not be considered)
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field desired); additional years of related experience may substitute for a degree
• 3+ years of experience developing software
• 2+ years developing and implementing AI models using machine learning algorithms
• Familiarity with Palantir software, including Palantir Gotham, Palantir Foundry, and Palantir Metropolis
• Strong programming knowledge, including Java, Python, and C++
• Proven experience with Palantir software development and Artificial Intelligence
• Experience designing and implementing Machine Learning infrastructure to train and deploy large language models
• Knowledge of Agile software development using Scrum
• Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks, and other technical tools
• Proficiency with major deep learning frameworks
• On-site work location in El Paso, TX
