Job Description

PwC is seeking a Senior Data Engineer - Senior Manager for its Managed Services within Technology Consulting. This onsite role in Phoenix, AZ combines hands-on data engineering with leadership to deliver data-driven client outcomes. The position offers an annual salary range of USD 124,000 to 280,000 and requires a bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of six years of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of innovative solutions to optimize business performance and strengthen competitive position, including roadmap development.
  • Apply advanced analytics techniques to support client operations and strategic objectives, with emphasis on AWS data engineering and Redshift deployments.
  • Architect and maintain data pipelines and architectures to enable business intelligence, utilizing DataStage and ETL processes.
  • Deploy data visualization capabilities to deliver actionable insights, leveraging SQL Server and DB2 platforms.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data challenges and opportunities within managed services contexts and service level agreements.
  • Mentor and motivate cross-functional teams to tackle complex problems and deliver high-quality results.
  • Employ systems thinking to uncover root causes and opportunities within client projects, including workload orchestration and scheduling.
  • Validate outcomes with clients and incorporate feedback to refine solutions, tracking CSAT and performance tuning.
  • Guide teams through ambiguous or challenging situations with steady judgment and composure.
