Mid-Level Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the software aspects of advanced avionics research and development systems, supporting execution, integration, and status reporting
• Collaborate with program management and technical teams to integrate new capabilities, derive requirements, and build program integrated roadmaps
• Analyze manufacturers' proposals as permitted by law and regulation
• Coordinate the software effort across design, engineering, integration, test, and program execution with manufacturers, providing ongoing status updates
• Develop, execute, monitor, and report on program efforts, including analysis of test data
• Serve as the mid-level Software Engineer for program technical execution, coordinating with program management and technical leadership
• Interface with government leads, manufacturer leads, engineering leads, technical SMEs, and the program manager involved in planning and execution
• Provide insight to assess the effectiveness of program execution and suggest process modifications for program activities

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field from an accredited institution
• Security Clearance: Final DoD Top Secret clearance required
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in Software Engineering
• Location: On-site in Ridgecrest, CA; telework is not offered
• Travel: Estimated travel up to 15%
