NetSuite Developer & Product Data Engineer

Reliable Aftermarket Parts, Inc. is hiring a NetSuite Developer & Product Data Engineer to build NetSuite capabilities and own the product-data pipelines that publish accurate catalog information across sales channels.

Responsibilities

• NetSuite development: develop with SuiteScript and SuiteQL, create saved searches, custom records and fields, and build workflows so NetSuite serves as the system of record for product data.
• Vendor data ingestion: collect, aggregate, and normalize supplier catalogs into clean, structured, trustworthy records.
• Marketplace data operations: build and maintain feeds and syncs that publish product data to Amazon, eBay, Walmart, and the company store; include validation and compliance checks to keep listings accurate.
• Integrations and APIs: connect NetSuite with marketplace channels and surrounding tools so data moves reliably and no re-keying is required.
• Own end-to-end supplier onboarding: take a priority supplier feed that arrives inconsistent and half-trusted, convert it into validated records, and publish cleanly to every channel; repeat the process for subsequent suppliers.

Requirements

• Ability to cover both sides: NetSuite development (SuiteScript) and product-data engineering using SQL or SuiteQL, plus Python or a comparable language for data work.
• Deep competence in one area and solid capability in the other; continue strengthening the second half with support.
• Experience handling large, messy datasets at real volume with real stakes.
• Capability to design data structures and integrations that others can rely on and understand later.
• Work authorization for the United States; no employment visa sponsorship for this role.
• Ability to be on-site a few days per week at the Webberville, Michigan location, including quarterly company planning days.

The Split, and What You Own

• 50/50 role by design: about half NetSuite development and about half product-data engineering.
• Listing team owns: routine item fixes and listing corrections.
• You own the system underneath: pipelines, records, validation, and integrations that make data publishing work.
• Build it once and keep it reliable.

Nice to Have (Not Required)

• NetSuite experience at a distributor, retailer, manufacturer, or ecommerce business, including integrations, imports, and production troubleshooting.
• Experience with parts, fitment, or catalog data, including ACES and PIES-style data and OEM cross-references.
• Comfort using AI developer tooling such as model-assisted code generation or automated test drafting for faster pipeline and script work.

AI Usage

• AI is used daily only where it is better than the alternative.
• Agents run on real work across the catalog, and the data layer you build determines whether results are trustworthy.
• Fluency is expected to place a model into a workflow and remove it if it starts producing incorrect content.
