Process Engineer

Mitchell Plastics is seeking a hands-on Process Engineer to join its manufacturing team in Huntsville, Alabama (onsite). In this role, you will work to strengthen production performance for automotive plastic part manufacturing, with a focus on continuous improvement, higher efficiency, and improved quality.

You will help drive changes that reduce scrap and defects, support equipment readiness for new installations, and contribute to successful production launches. The position also emphasizes collaboration across engineering, production, and quality teams to build safer and smarter manufacturing operations.

Requirements

• Engineering diploma
• 2+ years of manufacturing experience (automotive plastics experience preferred)
• Knowledge of injection molding, tooling, and assembly processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Passion for quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement
• Ability to reduce scrap, improve cycle times, and optimize production performance
