Senior Manufacturing Engineer

The MOHR Enterprises LLC offers a Senior Manufacturing Engineer role in Columbus, MS (onsite) with a $120,000 to $150,000 per year salary range and a bonus opportunity. If you enjoy owning the manufacturing process end-to-end, this position supports work that spans build-to-print execution, new product introductions, and factory-floor Lean and Kaizen improvements.

You will contribute to the production of aerospace and defense hardware, working from early ramp-up through steady-state operations, with the ability to see tangible outcomes from process and workflow improvements.

Responsibilities

• Develop manufacturing processes and create work instructions for build-to-print parts and assemblies.
• Lead new product introduction activities and support production ramp-up.
• Resolve production issues across machining, welding, metal fabrication, and assembly.
• Create and maintain bills of materials and develop facility and assembly-line layouts.
• Partner with production and engineering teams to improve quality and workflow.
• Drive Lean and Kaizen initiatives to reduce waste and improve efficiency.

Requirements

• 6+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, including aerospace or defense experience.
• Hands-on engineering experience across machining, welding, metal fabrication, and complex assembly.
• Experience developing manufacturing processes and clear work instructions.
• Experience with new product introduction, production ramp-up, BOMs, and production layouts.
• Demonstrated results using Lean or Kaizen to improve manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred, or Associate’s in Engineering Technology with equivalent experience.
• Ability to meet applicable export-control access requirements.
