Product Design Engineer

In Colchester, VT, this onsite Product Design Engineer role supports the development of new products across multiple end markets.

Responsibilities

• Create product drawings for new and developing products
• Prepare product cost information to support product development and commercialization
• Develop price sheets and related pricing documentation
• Prepare engineered quotations for customer and internal needs
• Specify and procure raw materials required for new products
• Support additional duties as assigned by the supervisor
• Perform work in a compliant and environmentally safe manner
• Follow all facility environmental policies and procedures
• Participate in continual improvement activities focused on reducing environmental impact
• Report all environmental incidents or concerns to the EHS manager

Requirements

• 5+ years of applicable experience, or a B.S. in Engineering or Science (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent presentation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications
• Solid technical aptitude with strong research and analytic skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively with strong time management skills
• Ability to travel domestic and international
• Proficiency in AutoCAD

Compensation: USD 60,000 to 70,000 per yearly.
