Product Design Engineer

As a Product Design Engineer at PSG, you will support the design and development of new and existing products, components, and assemblies. The position emphasizes applying engineering principles, using mathematical modeling to assess feasibility, and contributing to prototype design and validation through testing and iterative improvements.

Role Overview

Product Design Engineering at PSG is centered on creating solutions that satisfy customer technical and functional requirements while also meeting manufacturing cost and efficiency targets. You will contribute to both early design work and hands-on support activities across prototype development, including design, test, modification, fabrication, and assembly.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply engineering principles to develop mechanical, electronic, or chemical products aligned with customer technical and functional specifications, as well as manufacturing cost and efficiency requirements.
• Conduct mathematical modeling to evaluate technical feasibility of proposed designs.
• Support and participate in the design, test, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototypes.
• May assist with designing product specific manufacturing production processes and equipment.
• Perform work independently with general supervision.
• May influence others within the job area by explaining facts, policies, and practices.

• Technical 2 level: applies practical knowledge of the job area, typically gained through advanced education and work experience.

Compensation

USD 97,000 - 110,000 per year.
