Job Description
At Anduril Industries, the Product Operations Technical Support Engineer for Edge Compute Systems helps ensure the reliability and readiness of fixed-site and expeditionary asset control solutions. This onsite role in Costa Mesa, CA combines hands-on incident management with proactive sustainment, translating field insights into durable improvements across the GCS fleet.
Responsibilities
- Sustain Anduril's GCS deployments by aligning with customer missions and the delivered capabilities of our products.
- Triage, diagnose, and determine root causes for product incidents, driving postmortem actions and maintaining visibility of status through resolution.
- Abstract incidents and optimize overall system and product reliability across the fleet.
- Perform log reviews and diagnostics, utilizing Linux command line tools for system management and issue resolution.
- Regularly assess and improve the fleet's observability and health telemetry in collaboration with multiple GCS teams.
- Collect, organize, and analyze failure data to define trends, drive proactive sustainment processes, and support resource allocation.
- Support global customers through proactive communications and precise execution, tracking and managing customer-facing incidents and ensuring timely response and resolution communications.
- Evaluate and propose improvements to product capabilities by analyzing customer feedback for capability requirements, performance indicators, and functionality needs.
- Maintain awareness of current product specifications and bridge gaps between technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Coordinate technical and nontechnical efforts across business, engineering, and sustainment functions, influencing decisions to maximize availability for end users.
- Travel as needed to support customer needs and operations.
Requirements
- 4+ years of technical support experience focused on final-tier customer concern handling.
- Experience supporting and performing incident-driven workflows involving analysis, triage, and prioritization.
- Background in on-call support operations and working in environments with limited risk tolerance.
- Ability to work non-standard hours and weekends as required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Security clearance.
