Responsibilities
You will support a suite of software applications and services that update satellite software on the ground and in orbit. This role directly impacts customers through high‑impact production operations and triage that often involves multiple Development, Product, and Support teams.
- Support OTA procedures and space operations, troubleshoot, diagnose, and fix production software issues; develop tools, automation, and monitoring solutions; perform software maintenance and configuration.
- Implement fixes for internally developed code (Python and Go) and track technical challenges to improve operational excellence and system readiness.
- Update, monitor, and resolve issues across multiple products, features, and services, ensuring high-quality code delivered in new releases meets performance standards for launches, space, and provisioning of satellites.
- Root-cause and triage issues, and execute software update procedures during manufacturing, in ground labs, and in orbit.
Requirements
- 2+ years of systems development experience
- Experience automating, deploying, and supporting infrastructure
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, or Rust
- Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, a U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
