Project Engineer

NTI Marine Offshore Industrial is seeking a Project Engineer to support offshore maintenance and modification work tied to BP’s Thunder Horse facility, with occasional activity at Mad Dog. This contract role centers on planning, coordination, and safe execution of maintenance projects, upgrades, and rig modifications with a predictable 3 on / 3 off (21/21) rotation.

In this position, you will manage key project workstreams end-to-end, including front-end planning and budgeting through offshore execution and contractor coordination. You will also serve as a primary interface among multiple offshore stakeholders while keeping permitting, safety, and compliance requirements aligned with the realities of offshore scheduling and SIMOPS constraints.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, budgets, work packs, and vendor coordination
• Oversee offshore execution and manage 3rd-party contractors
• Act as the key liaison between BP Wells, Valaris, and BP Production
• Support engineering with measurements, surveys, and constructability
• Navigate SIMOPS, weather delays, and dynamic offshore schedules
• Ensure permitting, safety, and compliance standards are met

Requirements

• 5+ years of project engineering and/or project coordination experience
• Valid HUET, TWIC, and RigPass
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and climb ladders offshore
