Job Description
As the Project Engineer for Development Vehicle Systems Level 4, based in Fort Worth, TX, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the scope, cost, and schedule for the F-35 LOBe program. This position entails coordinating with Program Management and the Domain Excellence team to advance vehicle systems development and ensure alignment with program objectives.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Earned Value analysis at the contract level and assess its impact on the broader engineering effort.
- Translate the contract's technical scope into actions that clearly align with program objectives and strategy.
- Communicate technical issues across management levels and drive resolution through detailed closure plans.
- Identify gaps that span multiple contracts and propose pragmatic, actionable solutions.
- Spot risks and opportunities, then lead the development of closure plans through strong technical leadership.
Requirements
- Minimum five years of professional experience in a related discipline.
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or an equivalent STEM field with relevant technical experience.
- Experience in project engineering, project management, or related technical roles.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Requires a government security clearance.
