Job Description
This Technology Consultant role with Infosys is centered on building and sustaining applications using Python and AWS-focused AI capabilities. Based in Plano, TX (onsite), you will support the full delivery lifecycle, from early requirements through design, coding, testing, and ongoing application maintenance, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
Working as part of a technical team, you will document business requirements for assigned scope, participate in design discussions, and help translate complex needs into clear development tasks. The work also includes code reviews, production support, and knowledge sharing to strengthen reliability and continuity across related projects.
Responsibilities
- Support the requirements elicitation effort by documenting assigned portions of business requirements according to provided guidance
- Join software application design discussions and record design decisions to align the team on solution direction
- Contribute to coding efforts by integrating new features or updates into existing applications while prioritizing system stability
- Perform code reviews, make codebase changes, and maintain code repositories
- Develop and execute test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes to meet software quality standards
- Create user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to enable smooth transitions to new software applications
- Participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive actions to improve system reliability
- Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to build and support the knowledge base for similar projects
